Turkish Demonstrative Pronouns
Turkish uses three main demonstrative pronouns:
- Bu: This (near the speaker)
- Şu: That (near the listener)
- O: That (far from both speaker and listener)
Usage
As pronouns:
- Bu güzel. (This is beautiful.)
- Şu ilginç. (That is interesting.)
- O büyük. (That is big.)
As adjectives:

Turkish demonstrative pronouns have plural forms:
